This place is a tiny corner place that is sleek and modern, highlighted by it's lime green walls.

There's alcohol here too! Which is a plus in my book. The menu was very cute and aligned like the ‘El’ train map. So, kinda loving the vibe on arrival.

However, I'm more trepidatious with Trendy tacos than I am with OG tacos - and, in the case of El Metro, rightly so.

The recommended taco was the fish taco and I also got a steak taco, because steak,

I'll start with the fish taco. Pros: The sauce was tasty. Cons: Breading was too thick so you couldn't even taste the fish.

The steak: eh.... I mean it was fine. They used cooked onions which... why? There was nothing GOOD to say about it, but also nothing terrible to say about it. It was edible, but not overtly enjoyable.

I liked the fish taco better because of the sauce, but only by a slim margin. I didn't finish either of them - though, to be fair, I was already a bit full.

Would I recommend? Um.. Meh? I like the restaurant itself. I could see drinking here with friends. But there are better, and cheaper, places for that in the city.
